It’s been a while since I’ve been able to keep up any kind of regular updates here. The problem is that I am simply working on too many sites at the same time. But I’m not about to let 2KAD go just yet. It’s time to optimise my workload and trim down the sites which aren’t worthwhile. Once that is done I’ve do a revamp of 2KAD and get back to regular updates. It will take a few weeks, possibly a few months, so in the meantime I heartily recommend visiting another humour blog:

This blog has improved markedly during 2009, both in terms of features, rate of updates and (I hope!) quality too. The number of you, the readers, has been increasing so now 2KAD regularly gets hundreds of visitors per day, often spiking up into the thousands.
For 2010 I will strive to take 2KAD upward and onward, building on the improvements and hopefully reaching more readers. The momentum is good and I don’t want to lose it now!
Here’s hoping that everyone has an excellent 2010. Many of us need it after the way 2009 went!

As you’ve probably noticed the main way this blog attempts to pay for its bandwidth consumption is the small Google adverts you see attached to the right of the top few posts. They are supposed to be context sensitive, but for some reason recently they have fixated on child car seats, mostly ignoring the contents of any of my posts.
If you are interested in child car seats then please feel free to investigate any of the adverts, but in the meantime I will look into ways of finetuning Google so that it displays something more relevant.

Big changes are underway. Phase one is almost complete and forms the most visual of the changes. This blog now forms the centre of 2KAD, replacing our old PHPNuke based news, content and links interface and the photo gallery interface.
Currently the old 2KAD Blog is still available, but over the next few weeks all the best content will be transfer to this new blog and then the old blog will be removed too. The ultimate result will be a more focused, higher quality site which is much easier to navigator and more coordinated in approach. To put it simply it looks better and it works better.
